KrAZ (КрАЗ) is brand trucks manufactured in Ukraine. KrAZ (Ukrainian: Кременчуцький автомобільний завод, Kremenchuts'ky Avtomobil'ny Zavod, Kremenchuk Automobile Plant, Russian: Кременчугский Автомобильный Завод) (or AvtoKrAZ) is a factory that produces trucks and other special-purpose vehicles in Kremenchuk, Ukraine; particularly heavy-duty off-road models. Truck production began in 1959 in the Soviet Union and after its collapse continued in independent Ukraine. Trucks used for various purposes in the Soviet army and the civil service. After the collapse of the Soviet Union was the main military operator Ukrainian army.
